Sr. Accounts Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order (PO) Management: Monitor, review, and coordinate PO clean-up, open/aged balances, and mismatches with the Supply Chain team.

• Vendor Management: Follow up with vendors on pending invoices, credit notes, and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.

• Invoice Processing: Handle PO-based and non-PO invoices, 3-way matching, freight invoices, and payment run activities.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain aging reports, dashboards, and AP–SCM reconciliation reports.

• Closing & Audit Support: Support month-end close activities and assist in internal/external audits with accurate documentation.

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to resolve issues, providing clear explanations of financial data and processes.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation in AP–SCM workflows.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 3–6 years in Accounts Payable and accounting operations, with exposure to SCM coordination, reconciliations, closing, and reporting activities.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA (Inter), ACCA, or CMA are an added advantage.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).

  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred; SAP/Oracle acceptable).

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to clearly explain financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.

Desirable Qualities

• Experience in a US-based MNC or global accounting environment.

• Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards.

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
